Grace Baptist Church runs a number of activities for adults, teenagers and children.
Meeting despite Covid-19
We are currently gathering on Sundays in an online meeting room – https://www.gotomeet.me/GraceBaptist – which opens half an hour before our services begin. Click on the link to join us using your computer, tablet or smartphone.
Our main meetings are our Sunday Services (10.45am and 6pm) where you are always welcome to join us. The service usually lasts just over an hour. It includes singing, prayer, a Bible reading and a sermon, where the speaker’s aim is to explain the Bible’s message in a clear, warm and relevant way. We also have a number of special services including at Christmas and Easter.
The morning service includes a section specifically for children with a Sunday School for 3-8 year-olds to enjoy during the second half of the service. Children are also very welcome to stay in the main service throughout – please don’t feel embarrassed if they make a noise, we’re used to it!
Midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting
We meet every Wednesday evening at 7.30 in a local home to study the Bible and pray. Please contact us for further details.
Explorers children's club
A monthly Saturday children’s club is run by the church from 2.30-3.45pm. All children from school Yr. 1 to Yr. 5 are welcome to come. More information and this year’s dates are found here.
Members from our church are involved in running the local Young Life group – an interdenominational youth group for ages 14+. The group meets every two weeks on a Saturday evening (7.30-9.30 pm) and further details including the venue can be obtained by contacting the church or Young Life.
Leaders and helpers at our activities are checked by the DBS in accordance with our safeguarding policy.
